Homemade fruit Rollups (Strawberries)

About 3 months ago, I found a recipe for homemade fruit Rollups that included only 2 ingredients! So far all the ones I had found didn’t sound much healthier or less sticky than the original but that one sounded interesting. So I tried it and it worked! Normally those easy ones always turn out to be more work than they say but this one really wasn’t.

You will need:

  • 2 cups strawberries (originally called for organics but I used regular and it worked fine.)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Blend the fruit until smooth, then spread onto a Teflex sheet or a parchment-lined baking sheet. Here is mine.

In the oven, leave it on at the lowest temperature until the fruit is dry (times will vary depending on the oven). Here is mine all dried up.

Notice the thinner crispy edge? Still tasty but not rollups material.

It is pliable as you can see

but I opted for strips not rollups, easier for a toddler.

Cutting it with a pizza wheel works really well.

That’s it! Yep, it really is!

Note: As you can see above my parchment paper stuck to the strawberries so the Teflex sheet is a must here, I really need to get one of those, lol.

This was meant for my 2 years old but I guess strawberries are an acquired taste as he wouldn’t have any (he won’t eat fresh ones either)  (Hey, he had one when we were picking it! Stayed the only one, but he had one! – Alex) but my hubby loved it and had most of it, I had 1 strip, lol.
