Shiny snowflake
A few months back I was browsing Frugal Family Fun Blog, when I saw this shiny snowflake mosaic Clara had made, now Clara is about 1 year older than Nico but I thought I would give it a try anyways and cut ours up to make ornaments for our tree.
It worked out ok but he lost interest quick in the tearing since his tearing technique was a pull hands apart and most of the time nothing happened since even the thinnest aluminum foil won’t tear that way. He doesn’t have the “1 hand forward, 1 hand back” technique down yet even though I showed him many times and keep repeating, but it will come
So he handed the foil to me and said maman? as in can you help? So I obliged and helped him out in tearing and doing it with him.
Afterwards I put the double sided tape on the construction paper and told him to take his foil pieces and stick them on. He did so very carefully, lol.
When he was all done I tried to follow the foil and cut his snowflake. He was happy with it. But that’s the only one we made, lol. We’ll try again next year
If you do this, we’d LOVE to see a photo of it. Email it to us or post it on our Facebook page. We’d love to do a Facebook album, a Pinterest board and a page of your creations
