Quick & easy Valentines Day card and envelope

quickeasyvdaycardcardWe did this for one of our “Operation Intentional Kindness Challenge – Week 2 mission“. My neighbour has really rough Mondays every week, it’s the job and not the person in this case, lol.  So we waited for Monday to do this. One of our missions was “Write a real letter or card (on paper, email does not count) to someone just to say hello and share something positive.”  And as I realized, I know where people live and how to get there but I had no clue what their addresses were lol. She (the neighbour) became our fall back person to do this, lucky her :)

Quick & Easy Valentine's Card StampingFirst fold a cardstock paper in 2. Set up Valentine’s Day stamps and red ink pad. Bring toddler in, explain/show stamping process and let him go.

Quick & Easy Valentine's Card Card3 minutes later, you end up with a pretty card.

Have mommy write a positive note. Ours said: We hope you had a good day. We wish you a great week! Val & Nico xxx

Quick & Easy Valentine's Card EnvelopeHave mommy make an envelope, tape 2 white printer sheets horizontally, stick the card in horizontally as well, centered at the bottom. Fold each side in, tape. Fold top over, keep stuck down with a cute self stick foam heart.

Quick & Easy Valentine's Card Envelope FrontMommy writes to who from who, toddler picks a stamp to “make a stamp” (put it where you would put a real one).

Quick & Easy Valentine's Card DeliveryDeliver and voilà!

You can do this for any occasion/holiday, just to bring a smile to people close by or far :)

If you do this, we’d LOVE to see a photo of it. Email it to us or post it on our Facebook page. We’d love to do a Facebook album, a Pinterest board and a page of your creations :-)

Valerie is the creative mind behind "Glittering Muffins", stay-at-home mom of Nico, a little dynamo that is bursting with energy. He also is the inspiration behind the blog (and the name) with his keen interest in cooking, baking and, well, glitter. Valerie constantly is thinking about twists to the traditional arts, crafts and recipes to make them her own and is inspiring others while doing so. Outside of the blogging world, her main activity is Nico, with the occasional TV show (non-toddler related) and casual game here and there.
