Pompoms pick up – Inexpensive fun game for toddlers
The other day I asked Nico to take out the pompoms for a craft we were doing, what I didn’t know was one of the bag was not closed well, so it all fell out on the floor. I said oh oh! and Nico ran and got his mittens. I can’t recall if he said it was cold or hot, but he needed his mittens to pick them up.
I helped him grab the bag so it would stay open and he had fun picking up the pompoms with his mittens.
The mittens are wool so the pompoms were sticking to them, it was funny to watch and he was laughing too instead of getting mad when I laughed. It was a great exercise to work on motor skills and patience.
He was also picking them up by requested colors, because I needed him to put certain colors in the bag at certain times
If you do this, we’d LOVE to see a photo of it. Email it to us or post it on our Facebook page. We’d love to do a Facebook album, a Pinterest board and a page of your creations

I love how they come up with these creative ideas that wouldn’t have crossed our minds!
Totally agree Amie. I tried not make a big deal of it after all it’s just pompoms and he seemed to have liked that and continued to play with that for a bit
