Pretend play – Emergency services (E.M.T./doctor)
(Jan. 6, 2013) Nico loves the show Doc McStuffins (Docteur LaPeluche, we only get it in french) and since then we got him a medical suitcase with doc tools in them. Since he’s a single child we are his play partners and this time Alex and several plush were his patients. At first he examined Alex, listening to the heart, checking eyes & ears and temperature taking. After that he moved on into his “ambulance” got a call on his “computer mouse radio” and “drove” to the scene of the accident where Lila the lion and Gus the gator where hit by a car. He put them in the “ambulance” and “drove” to the “hospital” and transferred them in with the help of his partner E.M.T. papa. Then he examined them too.
Here is a little video of the action (sorry for the sniffing and heavy breathing I had a cold):
He still plays doctors several times a week and he even his the patient with us being the doc now, but he makes sure to tell us what to do for the exam, lol.
If you do this, we’d LOVE to see a photo of it. Email it
to us or post it on our Facebook page. We’d love to do a Facebook album, a Pinterest board and a page of your creations
If you like what you see, follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with what we’re up to!
