Kids on the Go! – AirTime, Troy, Michigan

Kids on the Go!It’s me, PlayDrMom, bouncing in again to tell you about another great place we found to play.

PlayDrMom visits Airtime How could you drive by this place and NOT want to go check it out?!? We knew we wanted to go when we heard about its opening and finally got to check it out last month.  AirTime is an indoor trampoline and game park.

“AirTime Trampoline & Game Park is a high energy trampoline and music experience unlike any other. Imagine getting your bounce on surrounded by wall to wall trampolines with the speakers pumping out your favorite songs. That is AirTime Trampoline & Game Park.  Because life is good with music.   And even better with trampolines.” Within the indoor park there are several different areas to play:
  • Open Jump:  “12,000 square feet of wall to wall trampolines designed for open jumping where you can literally bounce off the walls. This arena is divided by age and intensity level so you can select the right experience for you.”
    • TWEETER Ages 3-7
    • HIGH FIDELITY Ages 8-13
    • DISTORTION Ages 14 and up

Yes … it is a bit pricey.  But in our opinion WELL WORTH it.  The kids had a blast and got a ton of energy out.  Two hours were definitely enough time for my two (ages 7 and 4).  On the day we went it was a bit busy (it was during Spring Break for most local schools), but it was pretty well organized chaos.  I would still recommend staying on top of your kids and maybe only bringing kids under 4 during less busier times.  AirTime strongly recommends booking jump time in advance because they frequently sell out.  Also, all jumpers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parents or legal guardian.  Waivers can be filled out on-line in advance. AirTime is available for parties and has a few different package options to choose from.  They also have regular special events geared towards teens.

We can’t wait until we get the chance to JUMP on it again!  I hope you get the chance too!
